Photo ID matched to an active ABN, and where the work needs a licence in NSW, the licence is checked on the public register and must cover that class of work. Water filter plumbing always goes to a licensed plumber.
A current public liability certificate of currency is on file before a tradie receives their first match, and we ask for it again when it expires.

That depends on the job, the suburb and who is available. We match tradies who genuinely work in your area rather than blasting your details to a list, so expect a small number of relevant quotes rather than a flood.
In NSW, residential building work worth more than $5,000 needs a licensed contractor, and plumbing, electrical and air conditioning work needs a licence at any value. Most house washing, window cleaning, gardening and small handyman jobs do not. Water filter installation always goes to a licensed plumber. We check licences where they apply.
Tell us. The contract is between you and the tradie, and your Australian Consumer Law rights apply to their work, but we follow up on every complaint and remove tradies who fall short.
